What is E-greetings?
E-greeting card site is one of Minrak's FREE Services. Here, you may create
and send greeting cards for any occasion to you friends and family around the
world. Greeting cards you create with this service are stored on our system as a
unique and private web page with it's own address that can only be seen by you
and the recipient of your card. We don't require any long downloads, and you
won't need to send your card as an email attachment to your recipient. We'll send
a short email notification to your recipient directing them to the private web
page address to pick up their waiting E-greeting card.
A card can say more than a thousand words. Send cards from our collection to stay
in touch with people who are special to you. All the cards are absolutely free,
so go ahead and send as many as you want.

Send E-Greetings
E-greetings delivered as soon as possible if date selected is Today's date.
If the date is selected as some date in future,E-greetings will be sent on the future date.
E-greetings are usually delivered at the "speed of email." During
peak periods, E-greetings may take several hours to be processed and sent.
We'll send a short email notification to your recipient directing them to the private web
page address to pick up their waiting E-greeting card.

Design your own E-Greetings
Minrak.com offers a unique feature which permits users to send their
own images on any E-greeting card.
Many of our users choose to include on their E-greeting card an image that they have seen
on the Web. This can be an image from another web-site, a logo or image from
their own site, or just about any image that is located on the Internet.This way users can
design their own E-greetings.

Modify/Delete E-Greetings
On the E-greetings Home Page
there is an option which allows users to "Delete/Modify a card
from being sent at a future date". Users will be presented with a set of
instructions to Modify/delete their card. Their card will be Modified/deleted once they enter the
necessary information.

Picking up E-Greetings
Picking up a greeting card is easy...
If recipients' email software supports this feature, they simply click on the
link in the notification they received. The web browser will then automatically
connect to our site, and in just seconds recipients' greeting card will begin to
appear.
If they use email software that does not support this feature...
No problem.
The instructions in the email notification explain exactly
how to pick-up a waiting E-greeting card.
Just go to our E-greetings home page and
enter the personal card number into the box located where it says enter
Card number. Then, simply click on the "Submit" button with your mouse pointer.
NOTE: Recipient's Card Number can be found in the email notification the recipient
receives.

Frequently Asked Questions about E-greetings
How do I send an E-greetings card?
- First go to a category on the home page that meets your needs, such as birthday wishes.
- Is this E-greeting for a friend, co-worker, or spouse? You may narrow your
search by clicking on a subcategory, such as family.
- Click on the E-greeting you want to send.
- Like it? Click on personalize this greeting and add a message. Don't forget
to fill in the recipient's email address and a subject.
- If you want to be notified by email when the recipient has picked-up
your card, then put a check-mark in the box where indicated.
- You may customize and send your card by selecting " Music",
"Colors and Backgrounds", "font size","font style"
- You may also scroll ahead the date that appears on the page and send a card
months in advance!
- If you'd like to see how your greeting looks with your message, click
"preview".
- Now you can click "send" and have your greeting delivered as soon
as possible, or select a date and have it sent in the future.
- Greetings are usually delivered at the "speed of email." During

How do I send my own image on a card?
We offer a unique feature
which permits our users to send their own images on any E-greeting card.
NOTE: For an image to work on our greeting card system, it must
first be stored on a public web-server on the Internet (If you do not have
access to storage on a web-server, contact your Intenet Service Provider)
To use an image located on another web-server follow the following
procedure:
- Locate the image address box on the bottom section of our home page (the box
will already contain "http://")
- In the box, enter the URL for the image you wish to use on your card (URL =
web address... example: http://www.xyz.com/yourimage.gif)
- Click your mouse on the button that reads "Use the Above Image URL"
On
the next page, you should see your image. If it does not appear, or you see the
message "Loading your image..." for an extended period of time, use the Back
button on your browser to return to the previous page and verify that you are
using the correct address for your image.
- Tip:?
Many of our users choose to include on their greeting card an image that they have seen
on the Web. This can be an image from another web-site, a logo or image from
their own site, or just about any image that is located on the Internet.
As long as you can figure out the URL (address) of the image, you may
use the image with our greeting cards.
You may also use any image
already available on your personal computer. Simply press "Use your own images"
button located on the upper right portion of the E-greetings home page. From there,
click the "Browse" button, after which a box will appear prompting you to locate
the directory of the image on your computer. Highlight the file you want, and
then hit "Open".
The path to the file you have chosen will automatically
appear in the box to the left of the "Browse" button. Click the "Upload file to
continue" button located at the bottom of your screen.
If the image is
correct, click the "Use above image for your card" button, if not, click the "Go
Back" button.
If correct, you may use that image for a card, as well as
take advantage of the same great features available with all cards from
MINRAK.COM.
Can I send one card to multiple recipients?
Absolutely!.You have to separate the email addresses of your
recipients with a comma and all your card will be on their way
I never received notification that my card was picked up by the recipient.
If you want to be notified by email when the recipient has picked-up
your card, then put a check-mark in the box where indicated. While creating the card you
must have forgotton this, thus you didn't receive notification of your card pick up.
What is my Card Number?
The card number is a unique number which identifies your card in our system. This number is located in the
email which you have received. Please read the email carefully. Every
successfully created card generates a card number from the system. If you have
received an email without a card number or an incorrect card number then there
was an error while creating the card. If you forward the email you have received
to us, then we can go through it to detect the nature of your error and can help
you in tracing your card.
When creating a card, why do I get a message saying "Invalid Email Address..."
You must not be typing valid email address in the sender's email or recipients' email boxes
When I pick up my card, I see the message, but the image never appears.
Minrak.com is committed to your privacy. We will not sell, rent or give any identifiable
personal information regarding our members to any third party. You will never receive any unwanted
email or postal mail as a result of information you have given to Minrak.com.
When I select a category I only see empty boxes with NO images.
It is possible that Minrak.com is in process of adding images to the category and you will
not be able to see the images.
Can I send as many cards as I want?
Yes! You can send as many cards as you like. That's what the system is made for.
Do I need to become a member to send cards?
No, you don't need to become member to send cards.
The recipient does not have access to the Internet, can you send the card to his/her email?
The recipient MUST have access to
the Internet in order to view his/her greeting card. If you send a greeting card
to a recipient who does not have access to the Internet, he/she will not be able
to view the card
I can't find the card I'm looking for? Can I search for it?
There is a Search box on the E-greetings home page
page from where you can search for any card in our system. Type in whatever
you're looking for and find something that matches your requirements.
You missed out an occasion. Can I suggest occasions, events?
Minrak.com already covers
many occasions and our creative team is always adding more and more
sections. If we have skipped any, please do let us know and we'll try to get it
online as fast as possible. A little information on the dates & nature of
the occasion would make our task much easier. We look forward to your suggestions.
Can I submit my own quotations, images & music? Will you use them?
We welcome and appreciate all user contributions. The creative
team loves to receive ideas and contributions from our users. Thank You.
How do I know that the card has been sent?
When you send a card, you will
receive an email from minrak.com with the details of your card. If you
receive this email, you can be sure that your card has been sent.
How do I view the card that was sent to me?
You can view your card in any of the following ways.
Method 1 : A direct hyper link to the card is sent
with the email notification. Simply click on the card hyperlink to view your
card. AOL members have a special link as well.
Method 2 : Copy the
card number from the email that you have received. Then go to
http://www.minrak.com, then click on E-greetings link where you will find a view card box. Type this
number there and click the "View" button to see your card.
How do I know that the card I sent has been viewed?
When you customize the card, you can select an option which notifies you when the card is
viewed. If you choose this option [By default, it has been chosen for you], an
acknowledgment email will be sent to you once the card has been viewed. Please
note that this email is sent the first time the card is viewed only.
How do I know who sent me the card?
When you click on the link to view the card, underneath the card you will see the
sender's information. We also maintain extensive
server logs on our site with certain additional information about the sender
like his/her IP address, date and time of the card created etc. Send us your
card number in case you're being subjected to spamming and accordingly we will
forward you the necessary information.
Will my email be used for any purpose?
Minrak.com respects the
privacy of its users and does not give out email addresses to any third party.
When you use the Minal.com service, you can be rest assured that your
email will not find its way into junk lists etc.
How long does it take to send a card?
Minrak.com creates your
card the moment you click on the "Send" button. Instantly, the card is created,
emails are composed and delivered. This process is instantaneous and there is
almost no time lag between creation & delivery. If the receiver does not get
the card after few hours then probably you made a mistake in typing the email
address. Sometimes due to the delays in the mail servers of your recipients, the
delivery can be delayed. Note :- Some email systems (esp. those of
AOL, Hotmail, Compuserve and many company email networks) do not receive the
mail immediately. So it may take from a few minutes to several hours for the
recipient to actually receive the card.
I sent a card for a later date. Can I Modify/delete it?
On the Minrak.com E-greetings Home Page there is an option which allows you to "Delete/Modify a card
from being sent at a future date". You will be presented with a set of
instructions to delete/Modify your card. Your card will be modified/deleted once you enter the
necessary information.
How can I delete a card that I have already sent?
After creating the card as soon
as you hit the "Send" button, our system sends an email to the card recipient.
Thus, it is not possible to delete this card. However if you had selected to
sent this card at a future date, this is possible.
I want to use my own music. What do I do?
You can type the URL of your background music in the Backgroung music URL box.
When you click on listen, if you hear the music then, you are all set and that music
will be used with the card, otherwise you need to check the URL.
I can't hear the music. Why?
In order to listen to music you
need the following computer configurations:
Hardware: Any sound card installed on your computer.
Software: Since you are already here, we do not need to tell you about the
necessity of a browser like Netscape or MS Internet Explorer. To listen to the
MIDI files on our site, along with your browser, you need a PLUG IN. A plug in
is a software that plays the music on your browser.
Plug-Ins are freely available on the net and you may also download software
from various sites. Just do a search on the net with the words "MIDI Plug In".
A NOTE: Netscape Users: You can find out what plugins are on your computer by
typing about plugins on your browsers Location Bar (The place where you type in
the web site address).
MS Internet Explorer Users: IE is not very plug-in friendly, It uses the
default ActiveMovie Control for playing its Multimedia files. If you are having
problems playing your music, it is recommended you reinstall your IE, with all
multimedia options specified
I selected the music, but am not getting anything in the preview.
This problem is due to your plugins. Please install the plugins again and retry.
The image that I have chosen is appearing distorted. Why?
Most likely this is due to your
browser. Our site is optimized for Netscape 3.0 or higher versions and IE 3.01
or higher versions. Please try with any of these browsers.
Can I see what the final image looks like?
You certainly can. You have to click on the thumbnail of the image you choose to see the complete image.
Can I send the card at a later date?
Yes, you can do that. Our cards can be sent up to 60 days in advance.
How can I send a card to multiple users?
You have to separate the email addresses of your recipients with a comma
and all your cards will be on their way.
I don't want to receive a confirmation.
At the bottom of the card creation
page there's an option :"Please notify me when the recipient views the card".
Disable the option by clicking on it and you will not get the confirmation email
when your recipient views the card.
I can't see the buttons to continue my card creation process.
Sometimes due to poor connection etc. the pages are not fully downloaded leading to the problem. Click on
"reload" on your browser.
I chose a font but it is not coming on the card? What's wrong?
Most probably your browser is not
supporting the fonts. It is accepting only a standard default font. Please try
with higher versions of Netscape or Internet Explorer. This font may not be
installed in your system.
How do I use the header and the footer?
The header and footer are used
for addressing your recipients. The header comes in a single line while the
footer can be separated into two lines by using a comma.
Whats the maximum length of the message that I can send?
We do not impose any limit on the text written on our card.
However non-Netscape users may face problems if the text exceeds 512 characters.
I'm using an AOL browser, I could not retrieve my cards. Why?
Our site is best viewed with
Netscape 3.0 higher versions & IE 3.01 or its subsequent versions. People
using AOL, Compuserve, GNN may encounter problems while using our site. We
suggest the following: 1. We provide a direct link to the card URL for AOL
users. Please refer to Method 3 in the e-mail notification to successfully
retrieve your card. 2. View the card in Netscape or Internet Explorer. You
can install any of these browsers in your machine. 3. Try accessing our site
during low traffic hours for AOL and Compuserve (at US Pacific Standard
Time).
I did not receive a card number. How do I view my card?
The card number is a unique

You are entering the card number incorrectly. Use "Cut and Paste" to copy the
card number from the email you have received and enter the card number in the
view box. Note : NO Plug In or any other software is required to view the card.
The card that you have requested has been deleted from our system. All cards
are stored in our system for a period of 30 days. After such time has passed,
the cards are automatically deleted.
